Hello there! It’s been a long one. I’ve had so much going on and I have so much to share. ROL will be moving soon! I’m so nervous because we are moving to a new town but I’m so excited because we are moving into a bigger house with much more to decorate! Yay! Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram as I will be sharing the moving process. Over the next few weeks I will be sharing some DIY projects the hubby and I have done while living in our rental. We have been in this home for two years and I can honestly say that I’m sad to leave. It’s the cutest little house and it has so much charm. I’m going to miss being here.

In case you haven’t noticed, decorating is my passion. I love decorating my home, my front porch and even parties! Recently, I was given the opportunity to decorate for a Quincenera. The day was beautiful and everything turned out great! dsc01058 The event took place in a barn so I had some rustic pieces and incorporated soft and feminine decor to balance it all out. dsc01094 dsc01059new-2 My favorite piece was the cake dresser! dsc01038 Yup, that’s an old dresser of mine 🙂 dsc01036 We wanted to have some fun favors that everyone could enjoy.. dsc01044 S’mores made great favors for our sweet guests to take home! dsc01050 dsc01046 dsc01051 The party was a success and everything was done on a budget!  dsc01041 Sources:

Tree slices were cut from a tree so they were free!

Horseshoes were used so we just cleaned them up 😉

Mason Jars are from Michaels. We filled them with Baby’s breath and tied some jute around the brim 🙂

Little glass square jars are from the dollar section at Target. We filled them with LED flickering candles and laced the jars!

Each S’more box contained two whole graham crackers cut into half, two small Hershey’s milk chocolate bars and two jumbo marshmallows.

The acrylic boxes I purchased from Amazon here. We tied some Jute around each box and added a tag stamped “thank you.”  Jute and tags can be purchased at any craft store but I mainly shop at Michaels with a 40% off coupon 😉

Burlap table runners were purchased from Amazon here.

Small wooden crates are from Michaels and we stained them with Minwax Special Walnut 🙂  Artificial flowers are a great way to save money. These were purchased from the Dollar Tree 😉

Other crates are used to carry fruits and vegetables and then get tossed in the garbage but I like to use them for decor 😉

All other can be purchased at Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

I want to thank my husband and my dearest cousin for helping me decorate 🙂 They were a big part in decorating for this event and because of them everything came out so beautiful. I love you guys!
