Fall 2016 Family Photo Shoot

Hello there! This post will be a bit different from my decorating parades 🙂 Recently, we had a photo session here at our home. I wanted to take some pictures of us at our new place and I wanted them to be taken outside. We live on three acres and the scenery is just beautiful! We needed to update our family photos and fall seems to be the most prettiest season for an outdoor photo session. And since these were going to be taken in the fall, I figured they would make great Christmas cards! I had the same photographer who took my baby’s newborn photos take these as well. She did such a great job with his and I knew she would impress me again 🙂

The day turned out to be a bit chilly but it was sunny so that was nice. Some of us wore a vest, sweater or a light jacket and we all wore boots. My daughter and I dressed up our boots for the session while my boys wore their everyday cowboy boots!
